Les Maisons du Clair de la Plume situées en Provence, au pied du château de Grignan, un des plus « Beaux Villages de France », se répartissent en 6 lieux du village historique.
L’historique hôtel restaurant Le Clair de la Plume : sous la verrière, le restaurant gastronomique (1* Michelin) propose une cuisine délicate co-signée Glenn VIEL*** et 9 chambres meublées XIXème se partagent les étages.
Toute proche, la Maison Privée, dont l’escalier monumental conduit aux 6 suites et chambres intemporelles.
Une flânerie s’impose au Jardin Méditerranéen : collection de plantes, baignade naturelle et le lieu secret « Pavillon des amoureux » comprenant 1 chambre.
A quelques pas, l’hôtel **** et le Bistro La Ferme Chapouton abrite 13 chambres contemporaines, une piscine chauffée et des salles pour séminaires, mariages, cousinades… de 10 à 200 personnes.
Enfin, sur la place du village, le Café des Vignerons (bar à vins & cuisine) et le Caveau des Vignerons et Produits du Terroir complètent notre invitation à découvrir une Provence préservée et magique.

Grignan est un charmant et typique village provençal situé dans le département de la Drôme, en Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, au sud-est de la France.
Il compte un magnifique château Renaissance, et est mentionné dans les lettres que Madame de Sévigné écrivit à sa fille qui y résidait, Madame de Grignan, au XVIIème siècle. Le village et les alentours regorgent de trésors à visiter et à déguster en toutes saisons.

The whole stay was charming
The hotel and assortment of associated rooms are in the bottom of a charming village which was obviously a 'destination' as it was pretty crowded on 15 August. The welcome was warm and helpful, our beautiful room with excellent facilities was in a separate house just down the street. We were able to park our car close to the hotel and walked to La Ferme, their bistro restaurant for an excellent open air dinner. The service and menu obviously had an eye to Michelin ambitions so it was not cheap but very pleasant. The location was beautiful particularly on a fine summer evening.

The hotel is completing charming, with a lovely pool. The attached restaurant is outstanding. Wonderful buffet breakfast in the garden each morning. Comfortable beds and good A/C. My room was a little small but perfectly comfortable and I was not in the room except to sleep. Definitely recommend and will stay here again myself.

The architecture and interior design of this series of buildings comprised by Le Clair de la Plume was exemplary: I had already visited it in Grignan as a tourist (they have a gift shop with their own products) and knew how stunning it is. Service was impeccable, the breakfast was sumptuous including some lovely champagne. There were wonderful touches such as locally produced bespoke foods & toiletries. The south facing views over the village and chatea were equally stunning both during the night & day. Centrally located, unfortunately it wasn't warm enough to try the outdoor pools. One call to reception for a local affiliated restaurant booking.

La chambre était grande et très confortable, le personnel prépare même la chambre pour la nuit, ce qui correspond à de très hauts standards hôteliers.

N’hésitez pas à rester le restaurant de la ferme, les sauces sont extraordinaires les associations fantatlstiques les plats hyper généreux le tout de façon créative, bravo au chef et son équipe

A chaque visite à Grignan, nous allons diner au café des vignerons. Grand choix de vin de qualité et cuisine au top. je recommande la salade césar et les glaces faites maison !
Nôtres avis pour le restaurant bistronomique. Une terrasse exceptionnelle, avec une superbe vue sur le château.... ça commençait bien, avec un temps parfait. Le verre de vin rouge en vieille vigne était très bon, mais c'est surtout le plat de ma femme, et ma côte de veau... Grande, épaisse, juteuse, accompagnée des petites patates mitrailles... Une cuisson parfaite, pour une addition de de 56€ par pers sans se priver. Nous recommandons vivement !

Au restaurant la nouvelle équipe fait merveille : les cuissons sont parfaites , les goûts variés et justes. Pour moi mentions spéciales pour la courge thaï et la paella ( très très revisitee) qui méritent à elles seules le voyage. Les desserts sont beaux, originaux et extremement reussis. Bravo🙌🙌🙌 Sommelier hors pair. Très jolie carte des vins à des prix corrects pour cette catégorie d établissement . Joli service Hôtel ds un très beau village provençal avec des chambres abordables et un personnel aux petits soins Merci à tous
Un jeudi soir, restau plein.. pas de soucis on se débrouille pour nous trouver une table pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants. Le service est souriant et agréable.. Un gentil pour les enfants. Un chanteur ambulant qui a mis une super ambiance. On s'est régalés.. les assiettes sont très copieuses !! Je recommande ++
(Restaurant only): fantastic dinner experience. The Chef and his team wow'd us all night long. It all starts out in the cute little garden outside for a very warm welcome. After an aperitive one is guided inside into the main restaurant. The setting is stellar! The food convinced us beyond just one michelin star. There was plenty of finesse and surprises throughout the evening. The service team spoke good English and explained the dishes quite well. We'd come back any time. 6 course dinner for two people and one wine pairing got us to 500€. The chef is certainly ambitious and it shows successfully.
La personne à l'accueil est d'un grande gentillesse, elle a pu fournir les informations nécessaires afin de retrouver un vin consommé chez le restaurant juste à côté. Le vin était local et surtout excellentissime, d'où l'achat en boutique. Un grand merci et une bonne continuation.

We had an absolutely beautiful time here. The location is idyllic, and we loved how the hotel complex was split across multiple buildings in town, all within a short few minutes walk of each other. The rooms were very well kept and comfortable, the food was so good we kept coming back for more, and the staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and accommodating to all our needs. We came with a dog and they provided us with a dog bed and bowl (and a little treat, too!) which we'd not encountered before. We enjoyed our first night so much we extended our stay - it made our next day a much longer journey but was totally worth it. We were sad to leave! Thank you team CDLP. Leo, Ysabel and Gigi
Emplacement de rêve au pied du château. Les chambres sont décorées avec goût un mélange d’ancien et de chic. Notre dîner au Clair de la plume…magique Dîner surprise (sans connaître le détail du menu avant le repas), tous les goûts étaient justes et parfaits. Océane a su nous conseiller pour les vins et transmis les coordonnées des viticulteurs. Son professionnalisme fait toute la différence. L'ensemble des collaborateurs méritent amplement leurs places. Laissez vous tenter par une expérience parfois déroutante mais tellement parfaite

Bonjour 👋 Nous sommes venu en famille pour un anniversaire et j’ai passé un merveilleux moment. En effet ce restaurant gastronomique est une pure merveille. Le repas était divin de la mise en bouche au dessert. Un mélange de mets tout à fait inattendu pour ravir les papilles . Un savoir faire qui mérite vraiment les honneurs tant au niveau de la cuisine du chef, du pâtissier, ainsi que du savoir faire du sommelier et des nombreuses attentions des serveurs. L’accueil était parfait tout le monde est aux petits soins et c’est très agréable. Seul petit bémol, je pense que pour les enfants car ils sont parfois très difficiles a mon grand regret prévoir un féculent avec la viande car malheureusement les épinards sont loin d’être le plat préféré qu’un enfant aime avoir au restaurant. (Même si ils étaient délicieux )Les choses les plus simples raviront les plus petit . Nous avons passé un très bon moment Alors merci à tous pour votre savoir faire et pour votre gentillesse. Bulles de Collet, muscat sec d'Ignace, Givry 1er Cru Cellier des moines, Muscadet Landron, Crozes mystère et Pape blanc Roger Sabon. Merci à mes amis pour cette divine soirée 🍷☘️🙏
Nous étions six et nous avons commandé des glaces pour le goûter. Personnellement j’ai pris une glace à la lavande, elle était à tomber parterre et selon les commentaires de mes amis en fonction de leur parfum, idem. Nous vous recommandons cet établissement pour ces glaces en tous cas. Service rapide, très charmant et avec le sourire😊
Personnel sympa, gâteaux fabuleux
J’ai eu le plaisir de déjeuner à la ferme Chapouton en ce mois de juin et c’était sensas. La verrière ouverte sur l’extérieur, une vue magnifique sur le château, un délicieux repas. Malgré la chaleur extérieure on était très bien grâce à une circulation d’air naturelle. Mention spéciale pour Jo notre serveur! Jo a été au top: souriant, disponible, agréable, attentif! Bravo pour cette qualité de service, ça rend le moment encore meilleur!
Hyper convivial, bonne qualité et du personnel aux petits soins. La journée du jeudi, avec la présentation d'un vigneron local, est très bien pensée.
Une parenthèse enchantée au Clair de la Plume. Un dîner en 8 escales accompagné de superbes vins. Merci aux équipes pour leur accueil chaleureux et aux chefs virtuoses pour ce menu incroyable qui reste une très beau souvenir (aussi adapté à notre goût). Un regal absolu a chaque service, des mets travailles avec une grande finesse. La chambre était également sublime, calme. Une soirée inoubliable et une superbe découverte. Merci a toutes les équipes pour ce moment.
Nous n’avons malheureusement pas séjourné dans cet hôtel, mais avons eu la chance d’y être conviés par des amis qui y logeaient, afin de partager avec eux un petit-déjeuner dans le magnifique jardin de ce lieu absolument extraordinaire et enchanteur. Le cadre est idyllique. La cuisine aménagée en espace buffet, les tables dressées à l’extérieur, la glycine, les arbres majestueux, la verdure omniprésente… Tout est en tout point parfait. Une véritable merveille, que je ne peux que recommander pour une escapade ou une parenthèse de luxe discret et raffiné.

The team is amazing. They are super friendly. The rooms are decent and are of the upper standard. For 225€ we found this to be alright. The garden is beautiful and the pool is cooling. Onsite parking is free and there are several electric vehicle chargers on site with a decent ad-hoc payment system for 0.39 cents per kWh. We were welcomed with our dog as there was a dog bowl and bed when we arrived in our room. Very nice! I do not recommend the massage option. It's off-site in the village next door.
Excellent... Arrivés en plein rush (sans réservation) à 5 avec 2 chiens, nous avons été accueillis avec gentillesse et sourire. Le personnel a déplacé des tables pour nous accueillir. Quant à la cuisine: une carte restreinte de qualité, salade ultra fraîche... Service souriant 100% orienté satisfaction client malgré l'affluence et facture tout à fait digeste (environ 30€/pers avec boissons non alcoolisées, entrée -plat-dessert). Bref une super expérience !! Je recommande
