Les Maisons du Clair de la Plume situées en Provence, au pied du château de Grignan, un des plus « Beaux Villages de France », se répartissent en 6 lieux du village historique.
L’historique hôtel restaurant Le Clair de la Plume : sous la verrière, le restaurant gastronomique (1* Michelin) propose une cuisine délicate co-signée Glenn VIEL*** et 9 chambres meublées XIXème se partagent les étages.
Toute proche, la Maison Privée, dont l’escalier monumental conduit aux 6 suites et chambres intemporelles.
Une flânerie s’impose au Jardin Méditerranéen : collection de plantes, baignade naturelle et le lieu secret « Pavillon des amoureux » comprenant 1 chambre.
A quelques pas, l’hôtel **** et le Bistro La Ferme Chapouton abrite 13 chambres contemporaines, une piscine chauffée et des salles pour séminaires, mariages, cousinades… de 10 à 200 personnes.
Enfin, sur la place du village, le Café des Vignerons (bar à vins & cuisine) et le Caveau des Vignerons et Produits du Terroir complètent notre invitation à découvrir une Provence préservée et magique.

Grignan est un charmant et typique village provençal situé dans le département de la Drôme, en Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, au sud-est de la France.
Il compte un magnifique château Renaissance, et est mentionné dans les lettres que Madame de Sévigné écrivit à sa fille qui y résidait, Madame de Grignan, au XVIIème siècle. Le village et les alentours regorgent de trésors à visiter et à déguster en toutes saisons.

The hotel was beautiful. We arrived at 16:00, quickly checked in and took a stroll in the town. The night views of the hotel is fantastic. We had a comfortable stay. I had requested for charging for my EV, and it was possible to do it during the night. We were on route to Barcelona and this was a perfect spot for us to relax for the evening and enjoy the town / Grignan Chateau and views from the top. Would definitely recommend the hotel. Next time, we will plan for a few more days!!

Sumptuous Luxury in a Stunning Historical Setting: Impeccable Service & Quintessential Ambience
The architecture and interior design of this series of buildings comprised by Le Clair de la Plume was exemplary: I had already visited it in Grignan as a tourist (they have a gift shop with their own products) and knew how stunning it is. Service was impeccable, the breakfast was sumptuous including some lovely champagne. There were wonderful touches such as locally produced bespoke foods & toiletries. The south facing views over the village and chatea were equally stunning both during the night & day. Centrally located, unfortunately it wasn't warm enough to try the outdoor pools. One call to reception for a local affiliated restaurant booking.

The hotel and assortment of associated rooms are in the bottom of a charming village which was obviously a 'destination' as it was pretty crowded on 15 August. The welcome was warm and helpful, our beautiful room with excellent facilities was in a separate house just down the street. We were able to park our car close to the hotel and walked to La Ferme, their bistro restaurant for an excellent open air dinner. The service and menu obviously had an eye to Michelin ambitions so it was not cheap but very pleasant. The location was beautiful particularly on a fine summer evening.

The Highlight of Our Trip to Provence
Stunning and historic property with attention to detail and attentive staff. We enjoyed dinner at their bistro which was lovely and a nice walk just outside of town. Breakfast was the highlight of the stay with an incredible spread, even champagne, to be enjoyed in the garden. We booked last minute as we were driving through Provence and the stay was the highlight of our trip.

Une très très belle maison... Le clair de la plume est un endroit extraordinaire, aujourd'hui, nous avons dégusté l'incroyable voyage en 8 étapes... Tout était d'un niveau absolu... Un immense respect pour les équipes de ce restaurant... La cuisine, la patisserie, le service, l'accueil, tout était magnifique... Et l'ermitage Chapoutier de l'orée était juste parfait.... 😁 A très très vite ... Et un grand merci pour ce moment magique.... Surtout ne changez rien.♥️.

Café avec terrasse dans le centre de grignan. Proche du château, l accueil est très sympathique, le service calme mais rapide, les plats y sont savoureux pour un tarif très raisonnable. Salade césar et ravioles étaient excellentes, tout ça dans un cadre magnifique. Nous en gardons un agréable souvenir.
Nous avons passé un super moment au restaurant pour un déjeuner. Le service est parfait avec un accueil très chaleureux. Le plats sont délicieux avec une mention spéciale à l'île flottante à la truffe.

J’ai eu l’honneur de participer à un mariage en extérieur à la ferme chapouton cet avril. Endroit idyllique, un magnifique repas et je voudrais surtout mettre en avant la gentillesse et le service de l’équipe. Des personnes souriante, serviable et à l’écoute.

Tout y est! Excellence dès le premier contact, avec bienveillance et sans la moindre arrogance pour un établissement de ce standing. On ressent une vraie âme, et on s'y sent bien- sans oublier la nourriture évidemment exceptionnelle, pas une surprise compte-tenu de l'étoile Michelin... Au coeur d'un villge charmant, rempli d'histoire, pas encore submergé par le tourisme...

Bonjour, nous sommes fans de la Ferme Chapouton depuis très longtemps, c’est toujours un endroit magnifique. Nous avons passé un excellent moment. On n’´est jamais déçu.accueil, service, repas parfait . chic et décontracté.l’endroit le plus magnifique de la Drôme.bonne journée.
Comment d'habitude un bon moment lors du repas pris à la ferme Chapouton. Juste une remarque, étonnant d'accepter un chien dans ce restaurant.
Nôtres avis pour le restaurant bistronomique. Une terrasse exceptionnelle, avec une superbe vue sur le château.... ça commençait bien, avec un temps parfait. Le verre de vin rouge en vieille vigne était très bon, mais c'est surtout le plat de ma femme, et ma côte de veau... Grande, épaisse, juteuse, accompagnée des petites patates mitrailles... Une cuisson parfaite, pour une addition de de 56€ par pers sans se priver. Nous recommandons vivement !

This hotel in the charming village of Grignan is actually my favourite hotel in the world. I've been coming here for years, and each time the experience gets better and better. The original hotel with it's elegant rooms and beautiful gardens make you feel transported to another world, and the new addition and renovation of the old farmhouse Chapouton which is only a few minutes walk is another creation extraordinaire! The two restaurants - the Bistro (SO great!) and the Michelin star restaurant (Which is beyond AMAZING and should definitely be on your bucket list!!) is only surpassed by the hotel staff. They are so kind and professional and always there to make sure your experience is one to remember. So many hotels strive for excellence, but this one truly delivers, and I look forward to next year's visit!! A very happy customer, Barbara (United Kingdom)

Un dîner succulent et copieux dans un joli cadre. La salle n'est pas bruyante, la disposition des tables laisse de l'espace entre les personnes, les plats sont servis rapidement et sont bons. Petite attention au jeune serveur qui s'est occupé de nous à merveille. Je recommande.

Excellent... Arrivés en plein rush (sans réservation) à 5 avec 2 chiens, nous avons été accueillis avec gentillesse et sourire. Le personnel a déplacé des tables pour nous accueillir. Quant à la cuisine: une carte restreinte de qualité, salade ultra fraîche... Service souriant 100% orienté satisfaction client malgré l'affluence et facture tout à fait digeste (environ 30€/pers avec boissons non alcoolisées, entrée -plat-dessert). Bref une super expérience !! Je recommande
Très bel établissement avec un personnel sympa, le responsable qui nous a encaissé etait charmant mais alors je pense que c'était le chef des serveurs un peu plus ancien qui etait très désagréable et qui parle très mal au serveurs... Les clienst et les collègues ne sont pas des chiens
2 pâtisseries achetées dans cette boutique, en tombant par hasard sur cette adresse. Excellentes pâtisseries +++, parmi les meilleures pâtisseries que j'ai pu manger. La localisation est également très sympa. Je recommande +++ cette adresse, n'hésitez pas.

Bravo à eux ! Le cocktail maison est très bon et vous avez des nougats avec l’addition. Nous avons adoré le moment passé dans ce lieux et nous nous sommes régalés. Ayant séjourné à l’hôtel Le clair de la plume, j’ai été très content de découvrir leur boutique avec un large choix de produits typique de la région. La vendeuse est incroyablement gentille, voyageuse et amoureuse de sa région, n’hésitez pas à lui poser des questions pour une meilleure expérience de Grignan et de ses alentours. Je tenais à remercier énormément la vendeuse pour son professionnalisme et sa motivation dans sa boutique. Chapeau !
