Les Maisons du Clair de la Plume situées en Provence, au pied du château de Grignan, un des plus « Beaux Villages de France », se répartissent en 6 lieux du village historique.
L’historique hôtel restaurant Le Clair de la Plume : sous la verrière, le restaurant gastronomique (1* Michelin) propose une cuisine délicate co-signée Glenn VIEL*** et 9 chambres meublées XIXème se partagent les étages.
Toute proche, la Maison Privée, dont l’escalier monumental conduit aux 6 suites et chambres intemporelles.
Une flânerie s’impose au Jardin Méditerranéen : collection de plantes, baignade naturelle et le lieu secret « Pavillon des amoureux » comprenant 1 chambre.
A quelques pas, l’hôtel **** et le Bistro La Ferme Chapouton abrite 13 chambres contemporaines, une piscine chauffée et des salles pour séminaires, mariages, cousinades… de 10 à 200 personnes.
Enfin, sur la place du village, le Café des Vignerons (bar à vins & cuisine) et le Caveau des Vignerons et Produits du Terroir complètent notre invitation à découvrir une Provence préservée et magique.

Grignan est un charmant et typique village provençal situé dans le département de la Drôme, en Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, au sud-est de la France.
Il compte un magnifique château Renaissance, et est mentionné dans les lettres que Madame de Sévigné écrivit à sa fille qui y résidait, Madame de Grignan, au XVIIème siècle. Le village et les alentours regorgent de trésors à visiter et à déguster en toutes saisons.

The architecture and interior design of this series of buildings comprised by Le Clair de la Plume was exemplary: I had already visited it in Grignan as a tourist (they have a gift shop with their own products) and knew how stunning it is. Service was impeccable, the breakfast was sumptuous including some lovely champagne. There were wonderful touches such as locally produced bespoke foods & toiletries. The south facing views over the village and chatea were equally stunning both during the night & day. Centrally located, unfortunately it wasn't warm enough to try the outdoor pools. One call to reception for a local affiliated restaurant booking.

Quintessential Provence perfect stay
The most beautiful setting. Stunning garden. Very clean comfortable room with lovely toiletries. The dinner was absolutely delicious. The pools were so peaceful and idyllic.

The hotel was beautiful. We arrived at 16:00, quickly checked in and took a stroll in the town. The night views of the hotel is fantastic. We had a comfortable stay. I had requested for charging for my EV, and it was possible to do it during the night. We were on route to Barcelona and this was a perfect spot for us to relax for the evening and enjoy the town / Grignan Chateau and views from the top. Would definitely recommend the hotel. Next time, we will plan for a few more days!!

Dog-friendly, including provisions - bowls, treats, beds etc. Treats for us too - cookies and nougat! Bathroom with a bath, slippers, robe, toiletries etc. Parking available very close to the hotel. Lovely bistro within a short walking distance. Lovely restaurant on site that we took breakfast in - which has to be the best breakfast ever. I would return just for the breakfast. Warm, cosy and smelled nice everywhere! :)

We liked very much the property with the gardens, the view on the Château from our room was exceptional. The breakfast is expensive but the products are high quality and most of them homemade. The staff is very friendly and customer oriented.

The hotel is completing charming, with a lovely pool. The attached restaurant is outstanding. Wonderful buffet breakfast in the garden each morning. Comfortable beds and good A/C. My room was a little small but perfectly comfortable and I was not in the room except to sleep. Definitely recommend and will stay here again myself.

Zowel het hotel als ook het gastronomisch restaurant én de bistro, waar wij bij beide gegeten hebben, zijn van zeer grote klasse.
Un très bon moment , avec dégustation de très bons vins de la région , suivi de planche à partager de qualité et généreuse , puis dessert tres bon également . Le cadre est très agréable .

Nous avons dégusté 2 pâtisseries exceptionnelles. En plus d'être magnifiques, elles sont excellentes ! Quel plaisir de déguster encore des pâtisseries d'une si belle qualité pour si peu cher. On est à des années lumières des pâtisseries congelées de la majorité des "boulangeries". Une très bonne adresse, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.
Une expérience juste magique... Un menu "surprise" où la découverte de chaque plat s'associe à la justesse des goûts. Quelle délicieuse expérience et que dire de l'accueil et de tout l'accompagnement impeccable de nos hôtes ! Mention spéciale à Océane et à Sandrine pour leur bienveillance et leur sens du service juste parfaits. Une parenthèse enchantée au Clair de la Plume. Un dîner en 8 escales accompagné de superbes vins. Merci aux équipes pour leur accueil chaleureux et aux chefs virtuoses pour ce menu incroyable qui reste une très beau souvenir (aussi adapté à notre goût). Un regal absolu a chaque service, des mets travailles avec une grande finesse. La chambre était également sublime, calme. Une soirée inoubliable et une superbe découverte. Merci a toutes les équipes pour ce moment.

Expérience ... inoubliable ! Établissement qui valorise la cuisine et de l'hospitalité à la française ! L'exposition médiatique ne cache pas d'imposture... Le talent est bien là . Personnel jeune, dynamique, à l'écoute et extrêmement compétent. Le restaurant étoilé offre un menu surprise moderne mais respectueux des produits ... dessert chocolat fumé : bouriffant ! Un petit déjeuner exceptionnel dans une cuisine façon "à l'ancienne" servi avec sourire et bienveillance dans une verrière à la Eiffel.

Dîner en couple au top, ils savent se mettre à la place du client, et surtout se remettre en question et s'améliorer, ce qui est rare de nos jours, des plats originaux et aussi bons et originaux qu'on peut trouver dans des restaurants gastronomiques, les déserts mieux qu'avant évêché une vraie mise en assiette on reviendra plus souvent Alexandre B
The team is amazing. They are super friendly. The rooms are decent and are of the upper standard. For 225€ we found this to be alright. The garden is beautiful and the pool is cooling. Onsite parking is free and there are several electric vehicle chargers on site with a decent ad-hoc payment system for 0.39 cents per kWh. We were welcomed with our dog as there was a dog bowl and bed when we arrived in our room. Very nice! I do not recommend the massage option. It's off-site in the village next door.
Liebes Team, schon der Empfang war absolut grandios. Freundliches, zuvorkommendes hilfsbereites Personal. Die Koffer wurden ins Zimmer getragen, da wir doch schon ältere Damen sind. Das Frühstück absolut top all die feinen wunderbaren regionalen Produkte einfach genial. Das Abendessen haben wir im Restaurant eingenommen. Es war eine sehr schöne Ambiente, Speisen schön zubereitet und angerichtet. Wunderbarer Bordeaux Wein wurde uns auch in die Karaffe dekantiert.Top Service Personal 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Wir kommen gerne im September wieder und werden das Hotel all unseren Freunden gerne weiterempfehlen. Très bel établissement avec un personnel sympa, le responsable qui nous a encaissé etait charmant mais alors je pense que c'était le chef des serveurs un peu plus ancien qui etait très désagréable et qui parle très mal au serveurs... Les clienst et les collègues ne sont pas des chiens

Nous avons mangé récemment au bistrot et nous nous sommes régalés. Ambiance est superbe , accueil excellent et la cuisine est fine et délicieuse.Le cadre est exceptionnel avec le château de Grignan juste en face malgre la saison. Le seul bémol peut-être ce sont les prix .....
Un moment merveilleux dans ce restaurant haut en couleur, une table dans la verrière avec un menu en 8 temps pour découvrir les créations des chefs. Des canapés aux desserts, ce fût une explosion de saveur en bouche ! Ni trop long ni trop rapide, un rythme de service parfait. Le service était à la hauteur, chaque personne a pris soin de nous, de discuter, d’échanger et l’explication des plats était bien claire. Toutes les femmes, nous ayant servi, avaient le sourire et c’était bien agréable et nous souhaitons dire encore un grand merci à Lucie qui nous a fait passer un moment inoubliable. Excellent... Arrivés en plein rush (sans réservation) à 5 avec 2 chiens, nous avons été accueillis avec gentillesse et sourire. Le personnel a déplacé des tables pour nous accueillir. Quant à la cuisine: une carte restreinte de qualité, salade ultra fraîche... Service souriant 100% orienté satisfaction client malgré l'affluence et facture tout à fait digeste (environ 30€/pers avec boissons non alcoolisées, entrée -plat-dessert). Bref une super expérience !! Je recommande
Der Ort Grignan und das Hotel liegen in der traumhaften Drôme. Die Zimmer sind klein aber schön. Das Essen ist eine 7/10. Der Service leider nur mittelmäßig freundlich. Das Hotel hat sich wunderbar entwickelt.

This hotel in the charming village of Grignan is actually my favourite hotel in the world. I've been coming here for years, and each time the experience gets better and better. The original hotel with it's elegant rooms and beautiful gardens make you feel transported to another world, and the new addition and renovation of the old farmhouse Chapouton which is only a few minutes walk is another creation extraordinaire! The two restaurants - the Bistro (SO great!) and the Michelin star restaurant (Which is beyond AMAZING and should definitely be on your bucket list!!) is only surpassed by the hotel staff. They are so kind and professional and always there to make sure your experience is one to remember. So many hotels strive for excellence, but this one truly delivers, and I look forward to next year's visit!! A very happy customer, Barbara (United Kingdom)

Café avec terrasse dans le centre de grignan. Proche du château, l accueil est très sympathique, le service calme mais rapide, les plats y sont savoureux pour un tarif très raisonnable. Salade césar et ravioles étaient excellentes, tout ça dans un cadre magnifique. Nous en gardons un agréable souvenir.
Nous avons testé la partie restaurant.... Un vrai régal. L'accueil et le service au top. Le repas délicieux et le site est simplement magnifique. Je recommande vivement.
Un dîner succulent et copieux dans un joli cadre. La salle n'est pas bruyante, la disposition des tables laisse de l'espace entre les personnes, les plats sont servis rapidement et sont bons. Petite attention au jeune serveur qui s'est occupé de nous à merveille. Je recommande.
