Le Clair de la Plume

Over the years, Le Clair de la Plume has built up trusting and creative relationships with artisans from all walks of life: breeders, perfumers, cookie makers, porcelain makers, winemakers, etc. Lovers of the product, the beautiful and the good, quite simply. You’ll find their products in our boutique, and on our menus (depending on the season). Here you can see them in action in our hotel and restaurants.

BOTERO guest rooms

This guest house adjoins the hotel. It has two independent double bedrooms, not overlooked, with bathroom (shower, toilet, washbasin), minibar, satellite TV, wifi. Garden and small swimming pool reserved for the exclusive use of the two rooms. The 1st bedroom, on one level, features typical Provencal architecture. The second, on two levels, has a more contemporary decor. Please note: no telephone or air conditioning; for safety reasons (stairs and pool), minors are not admitted.

CLUIZEL chocolatier

For 3 generations, the Cluizel family has been bathed in the scent of chocolate. Assisted by Cacaofèviers®, experienced confectioners and chocolatiers, it continues its history in Damville, Normandy. Cluizel works directly with cocoa growers over the long term, a commitment to fair trade and quality.

In 1999, the Manufacture signed up to a quality commitment to Noble Ingredients that is unique in the world. A leading brand of premium chocolate on the international scene.

REVOL porcelain maker

The story of Revol is above all a story of people and transmission. Since 1768, when the company was founded, 9 generations of managers have succeeded one another at the helm of the family business. For the past 250 years, the company has found new inspiration every day to pursue its adventure and renew itself. For over 2 centuries, Revol porcelain has accompanied chefs and gourmets around the world. Today, Revol confirms its position as a benchmark in culinary porcelain, with an international reputation.

In this 700m² building in Saulce-sur-Rhône, Richard and Marina Alibert have created an atypical space, designed by architect François Muracciole (Bonpoint, Fragonard): Atelier, Epicerie and Table. Every day, visitors shop or have lunch opposite the production workshop, while admiring the teams at work making creams and jams.

VALS mineral water from Ardèche

This historic water, served at the court of the kings of France, is one of the oldest exploited springs in France, and has been making the Ardèche sparkle with the rhythm of its bubbles since 1602. Legend has it that a young fisherman named MARTIN discovered a peculiar bubbling on one of the river’s banks as he walked along. Tired, he stopped and drank the water from the spring that revealed itself to him, and was fine.water from our region, to be tasted at Clair de la Plume.

LES SECRETS DE LOLA biscuitier

Since 1999, this “cookie creator” couple has been on hand in Entrechaux, Provence. Their “home-made” cookies are prepared and shaped by hand, using only the finest ingredients. For Le Clair de la Plume, they specially make bespoke, hand-marked cookies. You can sample them at the Clair de Plume Tea Room, or in our boutiques.

In the kitchens, copper cauldrons and bain-marie are still the order of the day. The slow, gentle cooking processes respect the raw materials used and are selected with great care.
A museum dedicated to Nougat de Montélimar, the region’s flagship confectionery, traces its history in a playful way and allows you to see how it is made right in the kitchens.

To preserve their territory and the authenticity of their products, farmers have built up a collective heritage by organizing themselves into cooperatives to support the work of their members, the remuneration of their producers and their lifestyle choices. In 1994, they obtained the Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée for Nyons olives and olive oil, which was transformed into an Appellation d’Origine Protégée in 1997. A noble product of the surrounding terroir, Nyons olive oil & olive are available in a multitude of gustatory nuances at Le Clair de la Plume.
